Time/year : World War II (WW2)
Details : It was in 1941 that PAL Blade and Tool bought Remington and took out government contracts. It is therefore not unusual to see this marking stamped on M3 or other knives. As far as this PAL 36 is concerned, it is not the subject of it, and yet this dagger equipping the hunters is highly appreciated by the soldiers of the American army and many will acquire it personally. The marking “RH” on the blade recalls the name of the original firm Remington Hunting. This type of knife, packed in a leather sheath, will be used both in Europe and in the Pacific theaters of operations (PTO / ETO).
