Details: This uniform is that one worn by the soldiers of the Marine Corps for the parade. The scene can take place during a commemoration, a meditation or a medal ceremony. The soldier is the color guard and carries the heavy burden of maintaining high the American flag, which at that time contains only 48 stars for 48 states. The Marine Corps (USMC) will be widely deployed in the Pacific theater of operations (PTO) during the Second World War.

Theme: US soldiers are playing cards
Details: On an American camp at the back of the front, three soldiers allow themselves a moment of relaxation. They provided themselves with a deck of cards and began to play. Thus, they break the routine and the different tasks assigned to the soldiers on the camp. They all wear light and pleasant uniforms and are grouped at the bottom of a foxhole.

Theme: Moment of rest for this US Officer
Time: Summer 1944, Normandy.
Details: This US officer, probably a first lieutenant sits on the bumper of a Ford GPW Jeep. He removes his complete suspenders and enjoyed a moment of rest between two fights to address a thought to his family. He still has in his hands his US M1carbine. He wears HBT pants, a pair of leggings, service shoes and a wool shirt for the officers recognizable by its extra shoulder pads.

Theme: Corporal Joe Beres
Time: World War II (1944)
Details: Thisuniform is inspired by that worn by Corporal Joe BERES (35425134), 326th AEB, “C” Co, 2nd platoon, 101st Airborne Division. In the afternoon of June 7th, 1944, this engineer attached to the 501st PIR, poses for a pic suspiciously in the rear of the house of the Barquette’s lock between two attacks.
